Kaleb did his Star Student teaching earlier in the year, but we didn't get any photos of it. So we did a re-do. He taught us how to play midnight. It was great to be able to get everyone past their number and on to midnight, starlight or moonlight.
Welcome. This blog is a window for you to see some of the things our Year 5-6 class has done this year. My email address is carmelwilson@redwood.school.nz.

Alexander's Star Student teaching - Great Wall of China
For Alexander's Star Student teaching he taught us how to play Great Wall of China. It is a bit like seaweed except that the taggers have to stay in a line, like the Great Wall of China. So it was quite hard for the taggers to tag people. We changed the game a bit to have two walls.
Alex's Star Student teaching - cops and robbers
For Alex's Star Student teaching we played Cops and Robbers. We used the whole field and playgrounds. We had heaps of fun. The game is a bit like gang up. It starts with 2 taggers and when they tag someone, that person also becomes a tagger. We discovered there are some students very good at hiding.

Finn's star student teaching - hockey
For Finn's star student teaching we played hockey. It was nice to be able to play hockey again and use some of the skills we learnt from earlier in the year.
