Strike performance

We enjoyed a fantastic performance by the group STRIKE. There were 3 performers nick named Thomas the Tank Engine, Mr T and Mufasa. They entertained us by playing different percussion instruments.

Afterwards we wrote some lines of poetry about what we saw. We had to start with a noun. Then we wrote a verb, some describing or comparing. These are some samples of our writing.

Strike, a band of multiple instruments.
Drums arranged into a tower.
Mufasa jumped high like a beached fish.
Elysium and Campbell along with the crowd listened to the beat.
Lights went out. They played with fire!
Soda cans banged on the table, fizzing inside.
Crowd clapped as loud to make a light bulb explode.
Eager children screamed for Strike.
Every member of the audience clapped and whooped with cheer.
Mr T's arms went wild whilst playing the vertical drums.
Fire lit the dark gracefully.
Soda cans got shook like a boat on a storm.
Fire flicked like little stars.
Fire glowed in the dark like it was a fierce animals eyes.
Fire twisted, ignited and burnt through the air.

Fire flamed in the dark.
Drums banged in my ear like an elephant stomping on the ground.
Thomas the Tank Engine failed tricks.
Keys of the piano got hit by Mufasa.
Soda cans slid on the table.
Drums banged loud and proud to the whole of Redwood School.
Mufasa played the piano confident in front of the whole school.
The crowd clapped as loud as lightning bulbs exploding.
